Logan Dziuk · software developer · builder
I didn't come up through a computer science degree. I've been teaching myself to build software by shipping real products, with AI as a patient pair programmer. This is where I write down what I'm learning as I go.
I came to software without a computer science degree or the usual credentials. What I had was a list of problems I wanted to solve and enough curiosity to keep pulling on the thread.
AI changed what that path could look like. I learn by building: I ask a lot of questions, read the code that comes back, break things, and keep at it until I understand why it works. Every project has taught me something the last one didn't, from data modeling to deployments to the small details that make an interface feel right.
Today I build and ship full-stack products, mostly in TypeScript and Next.js. This blog is the running record of that: what I'm building, what I'm learning, and what I got wrong the first time.
When I'm not working, I'm usually in the mountains, skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer.

Assistants, summaries, transcription, and automated workflows, routed through the AI SDK and AI Gateway.
Texts, calls, email, video, payments, calendars, and the APIs and webhooks that connect them.
Multi-tenant data models, sign-in, and deploys, with automated checks on every merge.
The tools I use day to day, plus a few I pull in when a project needs them.
A recruiting CRM for real estate brokerages and their recruiting teams. Texts, calls, email, and video meetings live in one inbox, and an AI assistant drafts follow-ups, summarizes candidates, and runs automated workflows.
The public website for HiringCenter Pro: product and feature pages, integrations, and job listings rendered on the server so open roles show up in search.
The software engine behind our company's CCI assessment. Candidates take a branded assessment from a link, get scored automatically against a role profile, and receive an AI-written summary. Hiring teams can plug in through an API and webhooks.
A website for a home restoration and investment business in Twin Falls, Idaho: a filterable project portfolio, lead forms for sellers and investors, and a simple admin for managing listings.
A multiplayer Family Feud party game played the Jackbox way: the board runs on a TV and everyone buzzes in from their phone, synced in real time. An optional AI host writes a fresh survey on any topic, judges answers, and talks back in its own voice.
Where I keep notes on all of the above. Next.js on Vercel, with a Lexical editor and voice dictation so I can talk a post into existence from my phone.
